Zack Zolin Scholarship

Offered by Zack Zolin Scholarship Foundation

About this scholarship

The Zack Zolin Scholarship supports collegiate student athletes who show sustained commitment and passion for their chosen sport, including athletes who may not receive opportunities at the highest competitive levels. The foundation reports that it has awarded more than 50 partial scholarships and $50,000 in total funding; individual awards have ranged from $500 to $2,000. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient's college student account and may be used toward tuition, books, housing, or sport-related educational expenses. The current application accepts either a high-school senior athlete who will begin college in the next academic year or a current college student athlete continuing at a junior college or four-year university. Applicants use the foundation's direct Kaleidoscope form, which requires an account and allows the sponsor to collect the application, sport-participation confirmation, and references. Selection is intended for students whose athletic commitment and college plans reflect the perseverance associated with the foundation's namesake, Zack Zolin. The December 2026 award cycle is scheduled to close at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2026, but the foundation warns that it may close the form earlier if it receives an overwhelming number of applications, so applicants should begin before the final day.
