About this scholarship

The William L. Cullison Scholarship helps high-achieving undergraduates prepare for careers in pulp, paper, corrugated packaging, converting, and closely related industries. TAPPI’s Foundation awards up to $4,000 for each of a recipient’s final two undergraduate years, for a potential value of $8,000. The program is intended for students entering their third college year in a four- or five-year pulp and paper science course of study. Applicants must have completed at least one full undergraduate academic year, maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA through their first two years, demonstrate leadership, and show substantial interest in the pulp and paper industry through study, activities, internships, or career plans. Financial need is not required. Materials are due February 15 for the academic year beginning the following September. A junior-year recipient seeking the second year must provide a new official transcript confirming continued paper-curriculum coursework and at least a 3.0 GPA.
