Wilfrid Laurier University International Entrance Scholarships
Offered by Wilfrid Laurier University
About this scholarship
Wilfrid Laurier University International Entrance Scholarships are automatic undergraduate admission scholarships for eligible new Laurier students. Laurier's scholarship grid for incoming students beginning in September 2026 and after lists international entrance values of CAD $5,000 for admission averages from the GPA-to-offer level through 94.9%, and CAD $6,000 for students with admission averages of 95.0% to 100%. The top tier is identified as the President's Gold Scholarship. The award is partial funding because it reduces first-year tuition costs but does not fully cover tuition, residence, meals, books, insurance, travel, and personal expenses. Students are automatically considered when they apply to Laurier; no separate entrance scholarship application is required. To receive the full scholarship amount, students must be registered full time, defined as at least 2.0 credits per term, and must be registered in two terms within the first academic year. The scholarship is split across the first two terms and applied directly to the student account. The President's Gold tier may renew in upper years if the recipient meets the annual GPA and course-load requirements.
