W.W. Allen Boys and Girls Club Scholars Program
Offered by Oklahoma State University College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology
About this scholarship
The W.W. Allen Boys and Girls Club Scholars Program selects one incoming Oklahoma State University engineering student each year. The recipient receives a $15,000 CEAT scholarship annually for up to four years, for a maximum stated cash scholarship of $60,000. The program also pays for enrichment, travel, professional networking, and leadership-development experiences, including a 10-to-12-day international tour of industrial and cultural sites. Those extras do not have a current official dollar value, so the much larger amount shown by some directories is not copied. The scholar joins the wider CEAT Scholars community and participates in designated teamwork and career-development activities intended to build engineering leadership and cultural perspective. Applicants must be incoming first-year students pursuing a Bachelor of Science engineering degree at Oklahoma State. The official program says preference is given to applicants with at least a 3.0 GPA, active membership or volunteer service with a Boys & Girls Club, and demonstrated leadership. Candidates answer additional essay questions through the OSU student application portal and complete an interview. The official page lists February 1 as the priority deadline without attaching a cycle year; students should use the direct OSU portal and confirm that their intended entry term is active before submission.
