USC Trustee Scholarship
Offered by University of Southern California
About this scholarship
The USC Trustee Scholarship is USC's highest-value undergraduate admission merit scholarship. USC groups the Trustee, Presidential, and Deans awards within its Undergraduate Admission Merit Scholarships, with the Trustee award tied to full flat-rate tuition for eligible full-time semesters. It is recorded as partial funding because USC states that no USC Merit Scholarship covers the full cost of attendance for international applicants; housing, meals, health insurance, travel, and personal expenses remain outside the tuition-only award. International first-year applicants who apply by the appropriate merit scholarship deadline are eligible for USC Merit Scholarships, and selection is not based on financial need. Instead, USC uses a comprehensive holistic review of the applicant's candidacy, with no minimum scholarship eligibility threshold published. The award is renewable for the normal undergraduate scholarship period as long as students maintain USC academic standing, make normal degree progress, complete required units, remain full time, and uphold conduct and academic integrity standards. Because international students are not eligible for USC need-based aid, they must still document the ability to finance costs not covered by the award.
