The USC Presidential Scholarship is one of the university's major Undergraduate Admission Merit Scholarships. USC describes its Office of Admission merit awards as competitive scholarships based on academic excellence, leadership, service, and talent, with values ranging from a few thousand dollars up to full tuition. The scholarship guide states that the Presidential Scholarship is based on flat-rate tuition and is treated as a half-tuition award.
