University of Nottingham Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship
Offered by University of Nottingham
About this scholarship
The Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship at the University of Nottingham supports international students from African, South Asian, and selected Commonwealth countries who want to use their master's study to drive development back home. The award is a tuition-fee scholarship — covering either 50% or 100% of fees (it does not cover living costs) — for one-year full-time master's programmes. It is aimed at students determined to make a difference to key economic, environmental, structural, social, or political challenges in their home country. The selection process places strong weight on a single question: how your master's studies will enable you to make a developmental impact at home — only candidates with a compelling, criteria-aligned answer are taken forward for full review. To apply, you must first receive an offer to study at Nottingham, then apply through the scholarships section of the NottinghamHub application system; applications for taught and research master's study must be received at least six weeks before the scholarship deadline so that admissions can confirm your offer in time. The annual deadline falls around mid-April.
