University of Missouri International Honors Scholarship
Offered by University of Missouri
About this scholarship
The University of Missouri International Honors Scholarship is the larger of Mizzou's listed International Admissions Scholarships for first-year international students. For academic year 2026-27, the official table lists the award at $20,000 per year. Mizzou states that international admissions scholarships apply only to the non-resident portion of tuition fees and, unless otherwise noted, may not be combined with other scholarships. Applicants are automatically considered when they apply to Mizzou, so there is no separate International Honors application. Fall applicants must be admitted by March 1 and scholarship offers are sent by April 1. The review is holistic, using application materials and English proficiency; SAT or ACT scores are preferred but not required, and students may submit scores if they strengthen the profile. Only degree-seeking international students admitted for on-campus study are considered; online students are excluded. The scholarship is partial funding because it offsets tuition rather than covering the full cost of attendance, including housing, meals, insurance, books, travel, and personal expenses. International applicants may also pursue competitive Honors College opportunities, but those have separate December 1 processes.
