University of Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Scholarships

Offered by Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan

About this scholarship

University of Michigan's Ross School of Business automatically considers every admitted Full-Time MBA applicant for merit scholarships. Awards range from $10,000 to full tuition and are available to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and international students. Admission-awarded scholarships renew for both years of the MBA as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing. No separate merit scholarship application is required; Ross evaluates candidates during the holistic admission process using academic ability, professional and personal achievement, and potential to contribute to the school community. For context, published 2026–27 full-time MBA tuition is $78,586 per academic year for Michigan residents and $83,946 for nonresidents, although future tuition can change and an individual scholarship offer controls its actual value. The Fall 2027 application is open for the Class of 2029. Candidates may apply in Round 1 by September 8, 2026, Round 2 by January 4, 2027, or Round 3 by March 29, 2027; Ross states that scholarship consideration is available in every round. The admission application requires transcripts showing the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree, a resume, essays, a recommendation, and evidence of quantitative readiness through an accepted test or the school's quantitative-readiness statement option. Selected recipients receive their scholarship notice with the admission decision.
