University of Maine Flagship Match Commitment
Offered by University of Maine
About this scholarship
The University of Maine Flagship Match Commitment is part of the Flagship Scholars Commitment Program for high-achieving international undergraduate students. UMaine states that the program provides admissions-based scholarships and that award amounts are made at the time of admission based on high school GPA and the rigor of coursework completed. No additional scholarship application is required for admissions-based scholarships. For fall 2026 through spring 2027, the Flagship Match Commitment lists an available annual award range of $16,200. The award is partial funding because it reduces educational costs but does not cover full tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. Students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA to qualify for admissions-based scholarships. The scholarship amount is fixed at admission if renewal criteria are met, and awards are renewable for up to eight semesters over four years or 120 credits. Students should submit a complete admission application by December 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
