University of Maine Early Action Award for International Students
Offered by University of Maine
About this scholarship
The University of Maine Early Action Award for International Students is an additional merit incentive connected to UMaine's international admissions-based scholarship process. On the official fall 2026 through spring 2027 international scholarships page, UMaine instructs students to submit a complete admissions application by December 1, 2025, to be considered for the maximum amount possible. Students who apply early action may be eligible to receive an additional $3,000 merit Early Action Award. This entry records the award separately because it is a named add-on benefit with its own published value. It is partial funding because it is a limited merit award and does not cover full tuition, fees, housing, meals, insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. Students still need to qualify for admission and any applicable admissions-based scholarship review using high school academic performance, GPA, and coursework rigor. UMaine does not publish a separate Early Action Award application; the practical route is completing the admissions application by the early action deadline.
