The University of Dayton International Merit Scholarship is an automatic undergraduate tuition scholarship for international applicants. The broader first-year merit schedule identifies renewable scholarship ranges, including Father Chaminade, Deans', President's, and Trustees' merit awards, with the top range reaching $31,000 to $33,000 per year. The scholarship is partial funding because it applies toward tuition and does not cover the full cost of tuition, living expenses, estimated miscellaneous expenses, health insurance, books, transportation, or personal costs. Students are automatically considered when they apply and submit required admission documents; there is no application fee and no separate merit scholarship application. The University of Dayton is test optional, and scholarship eligibility is not negatively affected by applying without test scores. International applicants must complete admission documentation, financial documentation for visa processing, and English proficiency requirements unless eligible for conditional admission or other approved pathways.
