University of Calgary Award for International Student Athletes
Offered by University of Calgary
About this scholarship
The University of Calgary Award for International Student Athletes is an internal athletic award for undergraduate international students who are members of a Dinos athletic team. The official award page lists three awards with a value of tuition and compulsory fees to a maximum of CAD $10,000. It is partial funding because the award is capped and does not guarantee full tuition, residence, meals, books, health insurance, travel, training expenses, or personal costs. The award is offered annually to undergraduate international students in an undergraduate degree program in the upcoming fall term who are members of a Dinos athletic team and who have satisfied the English Language Proficiency requirement. Students entering the International Foundations Program are not eligible. Eligible recipients must be international students required to pay international tuition fees and not Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. The award requires satisfactory academic standing. There is no student application; the international awards page states athletic awards are nominated by the university athletics director, so apply_url is intentionally null.
