UMass Dartmouth International Transfer Merit Scholarship
Offered by University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
About this scholarship
The UMass Dartmouth International Transfer Merit Scholarship is an admissions-based undergraduate award for international transfer students. UMass Dartmouth publishes a $10,000 per academic year merit scholarship for international transfers with a transfer GPA of 3.0 or above. The scholarship is reviewed automatically from the student's admission application and acceptance to UMassD, so there is no separate scholarship form listed for this award. International transfer applicants should use the UMass Dartmouth international undergraduate application page, submit post-secondary records, obtain course-by-course foreign credit evaluation where required, provide course descriptions for transfer-credit review, and satisfy English proficiency rules. The award is partial funding because it does not promise to meet the full cost of attendance, living costs, insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. It may be deducted from the financial-documentation amount required for I-20 processing if the student is admitted and receives the award. Renewal requires full-time enrollment of 12 day credits per semester and a cumulative UMassD GPA of at least 3.0.
