UCD Global Excellence Scholarships (Ireland)
Offered by University College Dublin
About this scholarship
The UCD Global Excellence Scholarships are the flagship merit awards for international students at University College Dublin, Ireland's largest university. They offer a limited number of 100% and 50% tuition-fee scholarships to outstanding students on eligible undergraduate and graduate-taught (master's) programmes — a strong partial-to-full tuition benefit, though living costs are not covered. The scholarships are only open to incoming students who are classed as non-EU for tuition-fee purposes, and applicants must first have received an offer (or a conditional offer) for an eligible UCD course before applying; many undergraduate and graduate-taught programmes qualify, but some are excluded. Because the awards are very competitive with only a limited number available per recruiting region, applicants are urged to submit their programme application as early as possible, since admission processing can be delayed during peak periods and cannot be guaranteed before the scholarship deadline. Regional deadlines apply — for example, around 28 February for applicants from the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan (and South Asia at graduate level), and 31 March for all other regions. Applications are made through the UCD Global scholarships page.
