UBC Okanagan Global Elevation Award
Offered by University of British Columbia
About this scholarship
The UBC Okanagan Global Elevation Award is an automatic tuition award for new international undergraduate students who enroll at UBC Okanagan. UBC describes it as a CAD $8,000 award applied to international students tuition at the Okanagan campus. The award is renewable for an additional three years, up to four years total or degree completion, whichever comes first. It is paid as a tuition credit in two equal instalments of CAD $4,000 in Winter Term 1 and Winter Term 2. The award is partial funding because it applies to tuition only and does not cover the full cost of tuition, student fees, housing, meals, books, health insurance, transportation, travel, or personal expenses. Students do not submit a separate scholarship application; if they are accepted to and enroll at UBC Okanagan, UBC applies the award automatically to the student account after the student accepts the offer of admission. The award is designed to support international undergraduates who choose UBC Okanagan and contribute to its international student community.
