About this scholarship

Tulane University Global Scholarships are competitive merit awards for international undergraduate applicants. Tulane's official international financial aid page states that Global Scholarships may cover full tuition and fees or may even cover full cost of attendance, and that they are renewable for four years, or five years for students in the five-year Architecture program. Because the official wording spans different coverage levels, the award is recorded as variable funding rather than automatically full. International applicants are considered through Tulane's admission and financial-aid review. The university says applicants in the top 20% academically of the applicant pool, based on testing and high school or secondary school record, are the most competitive. Students should submit an Early Decision application by November 1 or an Early Action application by November 15 to be competitive. Nominations are made by the admission committee based on the Common Application and CSS Profile, and candidates may be invited to participate in a video interview with the international admission committee by March 31. Tulane also offers need-based aid up to $30,000 for qualifying international students who have not already received that amount or more in merit aid.

Eligibility

  • Apply as an international undergraduate applicant to Tulane University
  • Submit the Common Application for admission
  • For strongest consideration, apply Early Decision by November 1 or Early Action by November 15
  • Complete the CSS Profile or required international finance forms under Tulane rules
  • Be academically competitive, generally in the top 20% of the applicant pool
  • Participate in a video interview if invited by the international admission committee
