Toronto Metropolitan University Guaranteed and Renewable Entrance Scholarships
Offered by Toronto Metropolitan University
About this scholarship
Toronto Metropolitan University Guaranteed and Renewable Entrance Scholarships recognize high-achieving first-year students admitted for 2026-2027. The international scholarship page states that international students on a study visa who are attending a Canadian secondary school and have a final average of 86% or higher are guaranteed a renewable entrance scholarship if they meet the terms and conditions. Published first-year values are CAD $3,000 for a 95%+ final admission average, CAD $1,500 for 90-94.99%, and CAD $750 for 86-89.99%. The potential total value is CAD $12,000, CAD $6,000, or CAD $3,000 respectively, depending on annual CGPA renewal. The award is partial funding because it is a tuition-support scholarship and does not cover full tuition, fees, housing, food, health insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. No separate scholarship application is described for this guaranteed entrance scholarship; students are assessed through admission and the scholarship amount is distributed evenly between fall and winter terms. Students must be entering post-secondary study for the first time and must submit a correct and complete admission application for the program by the stated deadline.
