The Home Depot Foundation Path to Pro Scholarship
Offered by The Home Depot Foundation and SKILLED Nation
About this scholarship
The Home Depot Foundation Path to Pro Scholarship provides $2,500 for education in high-demand construction trades. The Foundation funds the program and SKILLED Nation, formerly SkillPointe Foundation, administers the application and pays awards directly to the recipient's school or training center. Eligible applicants are high school seniors, high school graduates, or GED holders who plan to enroll within one year or are already enrolled in an approved trade-related program at an accredited U.S. two-year school, technical or vocational school, community college, or training center. Supported career paths are carpentry, construction management, electrical work, HVAC, and plumbing. Employees of The Home Depot and their dependents cannot use this scholarship; the official page directs them to The Homer Fund instead. Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed at the end of March, June, September, and December, with winners generally notified four to six weeks after a quarterly deadline. The current fall review date is September 30, 2026. A scholarship must be used within one year after acceptance. New applicants create an account at the linked program portal, while returning applicants may sign in and continue their saved submission.
