Superior Seating Scholarship

Offered by Superior Seating

About this scholarship

The Superior Seating Scholarship is a standing annual award for students preparing for careers in culinary arts, hospitality management, interior design, or a closely related field. One recipient receives a one-time $1,500 grant. Eligible applicants include full-time and part-time students already enrolled in a college, culinary school, hospitality program, or design school, as well as high-school seniors, GED students, and nontraditional learners who plan to begin a qualifying program in the coming year. The official instructions limit the award to United States citizens. Applicants prepare an original essay of no more than 500 words explaining their personal journey and passion for culinary arts, hospitality, or interior design. The essay must be attached as a DOC or PDF file. The application email must also include the student’s first and last name, phone number, email address, major, and current or intended school. Superior Seating warns that excessive use of artificial intelligence may disqualify an entry. The sponsor reviews the submissions and contacts the selected recipient within 60 days after the deadline. By applying, the winner permits the sponsor to publish the recipient’s name, school, photograph, and essay. The official page provides the application email and states that entries are due November 30 each year; the next deadline is November 30, 2026.
