SUNY Oswego Go Oswego Awards for Out-of-State or International Students are automatic undergraduate awards for students accepted full time from outside New York state or from international locations. Oswego publishes the award as $4,000 annually, paid as $2,000 per semester. The award is available to first-year and transfer students and may be stacked with First-Year Merit, Transfer Merit, or Transfer Achievement Scholarships when the student qualifies. The official scholarships page states that the award is renewable for up to eight semesters for first-year students, or six semesters for transfers with 24 or more college credits, or until graduation, whichever comes first. The award is partial funding because it does not cover the full cost of attendance, mandatory fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. International applicants use the Common Application or SUNY Application, submit transcripts and English proficiency scores, and provide financial documentation showing funds for one year minus any scholarships awarded after admission.
