SUNY Geneseo International Student Academic Merit Scholarship Awards
Offered by SUNY Geneseo
About this scholarship
SUNY Geneseo International Student Academic Merit Scholarship Awards are tuition scholarships for international undergraduate applicants. Geneseo states that international students may receive awards of up to $10,000 per year at the time of admission and that the review is based on academic excellence shown through transcripts, mark sheets, or national examination results. No separate scholarship application is required: all international first-year and transfer applicants are automatically considered during the admissions review process when they submit an application and provide required academic documents. The award is partial funding because it is a tuition scholarship and does not guarantee coverage of full tuition, mandatory fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. Published priority deadlines are January 1 for fall entry and October 1 for spring entry, although Geneseo says scholarships may still be awarded after those deadlines depending on availability. International applicants may use the Common Application or SUNY Application and must document English proficiency.
