The Stony Brook University Global Excellence Scholarship is a merit scholarship for international first-year applicants. Eligibility

• Apply as an international first-year undergraduate applicant to Stony Brook University
• Be a current senior in high school at the time of application
• Have a meritorious unweighted high school average
• Submit the required international admission application materials
• Meet Stony Brook English proficiency requirements or qualify for an exemption
• Remain enrolled full time as a matriculated undergraduate for renewal
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for renewal
