Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards
Offered by Soroptimist International of the Americas
About this scholarship
The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards provide flexible education and training grants to women who are the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents. Awards begin at participating local clubs, where amounts vary and average about $1,000. Club recipients may advance to $3,000 or $5,000 region awards, and region winners may compete for one of three $10,000 international awards. A recipient can therefore receive as much as $16,000. Funds may help with tuition, books, transportation, childcare, or other costs connected with achieving education goals. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in or accepted to a vocational or skills-training program or an undergraduate degree. They must live in a country or territory served by Soroptimist International of the Americas, have no graduate degree, and not currently pursue graduate study. Previous Women’s Opportunity or Live Your Dream recipients cannot reapply. Soroptimist members, employees, and their immediate families are also ineligible. The application asks for education and career goals, financial information, personal challenges, and at least one reference. Written sections must reflect the applicant’s own experiences and voice. The system is open from August 1 through November 15, 2026; U.S. and Canadian applicants use the linked portal, while other participating regions follow local instructions.
