SEAFWA Law Enforcement Chiefs College Scholarship

Offered by Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies

About this scholarship

The SEAFWA Law Enforcement Chiefs College Scholarship awards three $1,000 scholarships each year to college students interested in protecting and managing fish and wildlife resources. The Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies created the award for students who advocate for wildlife conservation, enjoy the outdoors, and are studying wildlife, fisheries, or law enforcement. Applicants use the official two-page form linked from SEAFWA’s scholarship page. The form requests the student’s contact information, institution, major, completed credit hours, GPA, anticipated graduation date, honors and activities, work history, career objectives, and an explanation of the applicant’s interest in conservation and outdoor resources. Students must be entering their junior or senior undergraduate year, have completed at least 60 semester hours, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA at an accredited college or university. A complete submission includes the signed application and relevant transcripts. SEAFWA instructs applicants to email the materials to the Law Enforcement Chiefs scholarship contact shown on the official page by July 1 each year. Selection is aimed at students whose academic direction and career plans can support wildlife, fisheries, conservation enforcement, or closely related resource-protection work. Because the sponsor publishes a standing annual deadline and a downloadable application, students can prepare for the next July 1 cycle using the official materials rather than relying on an aggregator’s projected date.
