The Rutgers-Camden International Chancellor's Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship for nonsponsored international F-1 visa students who meet Rutgers-Camden admission requirements and enroll full time. Rutgers-Camden states that there is no separate scholarship application; applicants who meet the criteria are automatically considered when they apply and are admitted. The base Undergraduate International Chancellor's Scholarship provides $16,000 per year, or $8,000 per semester, for first-year students with a 2.8 to 3.19 weighted GPA and transfer students with a 2.5 to 2.99 weighted GPA. The award is partial funding because it reduces tuition and educational cost but does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, or personal expenses. It is renewable if the student maintains a 2.5 GPA at Rutgers-Camden. Eligible students must be nonsponsored, meaning not sponsored by a government agency and self-paying, and must remain international F-1 visa students under the scholarship rules.

Eligibility

• Apply and be admitted to Rutgers-Camden as an undergraduate student
• Be a nonsponsored international F-1 visa student who self-pays
• Enroll full time at Rutgers-Camden
• Meet Rutgers-Camden admission requirements
• Meet the published weighted GPA band for the base award
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA at Rutgers-Camden for renewal
• Maintain eligible F-1 international student status under scholarship rules
