About this scholarship

The Rutgers-Camden International Chancellor's Merit Scholarship is the higher-tier merit version of Rutgers-Camden's International Chancellor scholarship program. It is open to nonsponsored international F-1 visa students who meet Rutgers-Camden admission requirements and enroll full time. Rutgers-Camden states that no separate scholarship application is required; applicants who meet the criteria are automatically considered when they apply and are admitted. The published merit tiers provide $18,000 per year for first-year students with a 3.2 to 3.69 weighted GPA or transfer students with a 3.0 to 3.5 weighted GPA, and $21,000 per year for first-year students with a 3.7 to 4.0 weighted GPA or transfer students with a 3.51 to 4.0 weighted GPA. The award is partial funding because it does not guarantee full tuition, fees, housing, meals, books, health insurance, travel, or personal costs. All Undergraduate International Chancellor's Scholarships are renewable if the student maintains a 2.5 GPA at Rutgers-Camden.
