Rowan University International Merit Scholarships
Offered by Rowan University
About this scholarship
Rowan University International Merit Scholarships are undergraduate awards for international freshman and transfer applicants. Rowan states that all admitted international students on valid non-immigrant visas are automatically considered for Rowan University international scholarship awards. The published award range is $1,000 to $19,000 per year. No separate scholarship application is required, although Rowan encourages students to apply for admission and complete their application by March 1 for priority consideration. The scholarship is partial funding because it is applied toward direct costs only, including tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and board for fall and spring semesters; it does not guarantee full coverage of tuition, living expenses, books, health insurance, travel, or personal costs. Scholarship recipients are notified through the application portal and/or by email. After the student confirms enrollment, the annual award is divided by two and deducted from the fall and spring semester charges. Rowan states that awards are competitive and contingent on available funding. Recipients are expected to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
