ROMBA LGBTQ+ MBA Fellowship
Offered by Reaching Out MBA
About this scholarship
The ROMBA LGBTQ+ MBA Fellowship is a joint fellowship between Reaching Out MBA and participating business schools for future LGBTQ+ business leaders and active allies. The official fellowship page states that each Fellow receives a minimum $20,000 scholarship plus leadership programming, including an incoming-fellow retreat, free admission to ROMBA events during the MBA, and access to a Fellows resume book shared with corporate partners. The award is partial funding because the minimum scholarship does not necessarily cover full MBA tuition, fees, living expenses, travel, books, or personal costs, and additional funding depends on the school. There is no central Reaching Out application form for the fellowship. Candidates express interest to Reaching Out, but participating schools identify and select Fellows through their own MBA admissions and scholarship processes. Students should therefore apply directly to participating MBA programs and use essays, resumes, and school forms to communicate LGBTQ+ leadership, allyship, or community engagement.
