Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program Scholarship

Offered by American Red Cross

About this scholarship

The Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program Class of 2027 combines a $3,000 scholarship with two years of leadership experience and a fully supported training program at American Red Cross headquarters in Washington, D.C. The official program describes participants as current student-athletes at NAIA or NCCAA member institutions, while the live application requires applicants to confirm that they are current college sophomores. Selected students attend training June 7–18, 2027, with travel June 6 and June 19; the Red Cross provides roundtrip transportation, room, board, and a stipend. After training, participants return to campus to organize and market Red Cross blood drives or related activities, serve through the rest of their college years, and identify a successor who can continue the work. The application requires a fully signed Student-Leader Agreement Form, resume, unofficial transcript, headshot, school and academic details, GPA, leadership responses, a short public biography, and two non-family references. Applicants also provide appropriate campus contacts. The Red Cross reviews complete submissions, conducts virtual interviews, and expects to notify applicants by February 2027. Only one student from a school may be accepted. The Apply button opens the live American Red Cross-branded Jotform for this specific cohort.
