QuestBridge National College Match
Offered by QuestBridge (with partner colleges)
About this scholarship
The QuestBridge National College Match connects high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to many of the nation's top colleges. Students who are selected as Finalists and "match" are admitted early to one of the program's 50+ college partners with a full four-year scholarship worth over $360,000 — partner colleges use their own funds plus state and federal aid to cover the full cost of tuition, room and board, books and supplies, and travel, so matched students attend with essentially no cost and no loans. Eligibility centres on academic excellence combined with financial need: applicants are high-school seniors planning to enroll the fall after graduation, typically ranking in the top 5–10% of their class, earning mostly A's in the most challenging courses available (Honors/AP/IB), and showing intellectual curiosity and strong writing. The program is open to any high-school senior attending high school in the U.S., as well as U.S. citizens and permanent residents living abroad, but international students living outside the U.S. are not eligible. The free application opens in late summer; applicants rank up to 15 college partners, Finalists complete each ranked school's requirements by November 1, and match results are released in early December.
