Priscilla Maxwell Endicott Scholarship

Offered by Connecticut Women’s Golf Association Scholarship Fund

About this scholarship

The Priscilla Maxwell Endicott Scholarship is one of the college awards administered by the Connecticut Women’s Golf Association Scholarship Fund. The official page accepts applications from January 1 through April 13 every year, establishing April 13, 2027 as the next deadline students can meet. The Fund does not publish a fixed dollar amount, so the unsupported $4,000 figure shown by some directories should not be treated as guaranteed. Awards may continue for as many as four years at the recipient’s chosen college. The program is open to Connecticut girls who are entering college or are already enrolled, regardless of race, color, creed, or golf-club affiliation. Selection weighs academic performance, participation in golf programs, financial need, and the applicant’s interview. The application package requires the student’s form, a recommendation from a high-school golf coach or golf instructor, and a school evaluation completed by a principal or guidance counselor. The school official also supplies the transcript and applicable ACT or SAT scores. Forms may be completed electronically, but applicants must follow the submission instructions in the annual information document. Finalists should be prepared for a personal interview with the Scholarship Committee before recipients are selected.
