Pepperdine Christian Leadership Award
Offered by Pepperdine University Seaver College
About this scholarship
Pepperdine University’s Christian Leadership Award is a $5,000 institutional scholarship for Seaver College applicants who are members of congregations traditionally associated with the Churches of Christ. The scholarship is integrated with Pepperdine’s undergraduate admission process rather than offered through a separate public application. After submitting a Pepperdine application, an applicant receives access to the official Pepperdine Application Portal and uses it to request a recommendation from a leader of the Church of Christ congregation in which the student is a member. An eligible recommender may be a minister, elder, youth minister, or another qualifying church leader, and the recommender receives the submission link directly from Pepperdine. The published deadlines are November 1 for spring applicants and fall Early Action applicants, and February 15 for fall Regular Decision applicants. Recipients must maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and meet the university’s Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements for the award to continue each semester. This listing uses Pepperdine’s current official $5,000 amount rather than treating the award as a guaranteed four-year $20,000 package, because continuation depends on enrollment and academic requirements.
