Paul E. “Truck” Tremain Memorial Scholarship
Offered by City of Lawrenceburg and Dearborn Community Foundation
About this scholarship
The Paul E. “Truck” Tremain Memorial Scholarship helps graduates of Lawrenceburg High School in Indiana continue into postsecondary education. The City of Lawrenceburg created the program at the Dearborn Community Foundation, and the current benefit is $1,800 per recipient for as many as four consecutive years, for a potential total of $7,200. The scholarship amount is reviewed annually by the Lawrenceburg City Council, so applicants should rely on the official foundation page for any later change. The 2027 application for Lawrenceburg High School seniors is available through the foundation’s SmarterSelect program page. In addition to completing the online application, a student must finish 50 hours of approved Community Service Learning by graduation. Those hours must be approved by the Dearborn Community Foundation, documented on the foundation’s signed report forms, and on file at its office by 4:00 p.m. on June 7, 2027. The service records are not submitted through the online scholarship form, so applicants should plan for both parts of the process and use the foundation’s activity guidelines before beginning or reporting volunteer work.
