About this scholarship
The ParkON Scholarship for Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Majors will award two $1,000 tuition scholarships for the 2027-28 academic year. It is designed for current college students studying one of the three named fields and requires at least nine active college credits and a cumulative 3.0 GPA. The 2026 competition uses a focused writing assignment rather than a general personal statement. Applicants submit a 500-800 word essay, supported by real-world examples, on how frictionless airport parking affects travel behavior and revenue. ParkON evaluates entries for creative solutions, writing quality, grammar, punctuation, storytelling, and how directly the essay answers the assigned question. Students email the essay as an attachment to the scholarship contact identified on the official page. The message body must include the applicant’s name, email address, telephone number, current college or university, and declared major. ParkON has awarded this annual private scholarship since 2018 and applies a recipient’s award to the student’s tuition balance. The sponsor expects to select winners by December 15, 2026. Eligibility
- Be currently enrolled in at least nine college credits
- Be a declared business, marketing, or hospitality major
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
