Pacific Islands University President’s Grant
Offered by Pacific Islands University
About this scholarship
The Pacific Islands University President’s Grant is institutional need-based assistance for program students whose remaining tuition, room, or eligible university fees are unaffordable after other grants have been applied. Pacific Islands University states that the grant can provide up to $500 per semester and excludes course textbooks and penalty fees. The award is limited, is not automatic, and is made at the discretion of the university president. Applicants must have a current FAFSA on file and submit PIU’s General Scholarship Form through the university’s live Populi application. Returning students must complete a valid FAFSA before the end of the previous semester and apply before registration closes. New students must submit both the written scholarship application and a valid FAFSA no later than 30 days after registration closes. Because timing is tied to the university registration calendar rather than one national date, applicants should confirm the current term’s registration close with PIU Financial Aid. This record uses the official per-semester maximum instead of the directory’s unsupported $4,000 total and links directly to the university’s designated scholarship form.
