Orange Knowledge Programme
Offered by Nuffic, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
About this scholarship
Please note: the Orange Knowledge Programme has ended. It ran from 2017 to 2024 and officially closed on 31 December 2024 after Dutch government funding was discontinued; new applications are no longer accepted. While active, the programme — funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic — was one of the largest international development scholarship schemes, offering fully funded master's degrees, short courses, and tailor-made trainings in the Netherlands to mid-career professionals from 55 eligible developing countries, and it supported more than 10,000 individuals over its lifetime. This entry is retained for reference because the programme remains widely searched. If you are seeking funded study in the Netherlands today, consider current alternatives such as the NL Scholarship, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, or individual Dutch university scholarships, and check the official Nuffic and Study in NL websites for the latest options.
