About this scholarship
The University of Notre Dame Australia offers the International Welcome Scholarship for Nursing to help international students with the cost of studying its Bachelor of Nursing. The scholarship is a partial tuition-fee waiver worth 20% of the annual indicative tuition fees for the full duration of the program, applied automatically — there is no separate selection or application process; it is awarded to students who meet all the eligibility requirements. It does not cover living expenses, accommodation, transport, overseas student health cover, or other study costs, so it is a partial award to be combined with other funding. To be eligible you must be an international full-fee-paying student commencing the Bachelor of Nursing program (you must not defer your commencement), and nursing entry requires strong English — IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with no individual band below 7.0 (or an equivalent OET, PTE Academic, or TOEFL iBT score). The scholarship cannot be held at the same time as another scholarship from the University or any other organisation that covers tuition fees (fully or partially). It is a useful, automatic reduction for international nursing students at Notre Dame's Sydney and Fremantle campuses.
Eligibility
- Be an international full-fee-paying student
- Be commencing the Bachelor of Nursing at Notre Dame Australia (do not defer commencement)
- Meet the nursing English requirement (IELTS Academic 7.0 overall, no band below 7.0, or equivalent)
- Not hold another scholarship that covers tuition fees concurrently
- No application needed — the award is automatic for eligible students
