Morehead State University International Student Scholarship
Offered by Morehead State University
About this scholarship
The Morehead State University International Student Scholarship is one of two scholarships Morehead State lists specifically for international undergraduates. The award is open to incoming international undergraduate freshmen and transfer students and provides $8,000 per year, paid as $4,000 per semester. It is partial funding because it lowers the cost of study but does not cover full tuition and fees, living expenses, insurance, books, travel, or personal costs. For freshmen or transfer students with fewer than 24 credit hours, Morehead State lists two academic criteria: an admission index score of 450 or higher and a minimum composite ACT score of 20 or SAT combined score of 940. For transfer students with 24 credit hours or more, the criterion is a cumulative college GPA of 3.00 or higher. Recipients must maintain at least a 2.00 GPA on a 4-point scale for renewal. Morehead State's additional scholarships page notes that the award cannot be combined with the non-resident tuition scholarship and cannot be used to cover internet classes.
