MBZUAI Scholarship (AI University, UAE)

About this scholarship

The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), based in Abu Dhabi, is the world's first graduate research university dedicated entirely to artificial intelligence, and it funds its students exceptionally well. Every full-time admitted MSc and PhD student receives a full scholarship covering 100% of tuition along with a monthly stipend (which is inclusive of housing support), on-campus accommodation, health insurance, and a UAE residence visa. Programmes focus on AI fields such as machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and related disciplines. Because funding is automatic upon admission to a full-time graduate programme, there is no separate scholarship competition — the key is gaining admission, which requires a strong quantitative academic background and meeting the programme's requirements. To maintain the scholarship and stipend, students must keep good academic standing, follow the University's code of conduct, and meet research expectations. Applications are submitted through the official MBZUAI applicant portal, with a regular graduate deadline around mid-January and a later deadline around May.
