Loyola University Chicago Wm. Zolp Scholarship
Offered by Loyola University Chicago
About this scholarship
The Wm. Zolp Scholarship is an unusually specific Loyola University Chicago endowed award for a Catholic student whose legal last name is Zolp. The award pays toward Loyola tuition, and its value changes according to fund availability and the number of eligible recipients. A prospective candidate must first be admitted to Loyola by February 1. Newly admitted fall freshmen may then use Loyola Scholarship Connection after January 1 to submit the scholarship application. The student must file a birth certificate establishing the Zolp surname and a baptismal or confirmation certificate documenting Catholic affiliation with Loyola's Financial Aid Office. The official deadline is March 1. Because both the surname and Catholic documentation are mandatory, a student should obtain certified or otherwise acceptable copies well before opening the portal and ask Financial Aid how the records should be delivered securely. This is not a general Catholic scholarship and is distinct from Loyola's Catholic and Jesuit Heritage awards. The university does not publish a fixed award value or number of recipients, so the amount shown in an individual aid offer is controlling.
