Loyola University Chicago Academic Scholarships are competitive undergraduate merit awards for students applying to Loyola's first bachelor's degree programs. The Financial Aid Office states that freshmen should submit a completed undergraduate admission application by December 1 and be admitted no later than February 1 for scholarship consideration. The academic scholarship group includes Presidential, Damen, Loyola, Trustee, Dean, and Regent's Scholarships. For students entering Fall 2025, Loyola lists award amounts from $14,000 to $31,000 per year, awarded without regard to financial need based on information provided in the admission process. The award is partial funding because it is tuition-restricted and does not cover the full cost of tuition, mandatory fees, housing, meals, insurance, books, travel, and personal expenses. International students are eligible for undergraduate merit scholarship consideration under Loyola's international admission materials, but they must also satisfy international admission, English proficiency, and visa-documentation requirements.
