Law Enforcement Family Member Scholarship
Offered by Fales & Fales, P.A.
About this scholarship
The Fales & Fales Law Enforcement Family Member Scholarship awards $1,000 to one full-time undergraduate, graduate, or law student whose family includes a current or former law-enforcement officer. A qualifying officer may be a parent, spouse, sibling, or another family member and may be active duty, reserve, retired, deceased, or disabled. The student must attend an accredited university or law school and hold a current GPA of at least 3.0. The application packet consists of the sponsor-linked PDF, a typed essay of one to three pages describing the officer’s impact on the applicant’s life, and a certified current transcript; unofficial transcripts are explicitly rejected. Although the downloadable file retains an older filename, the sponsor’s current scholarship page directs 2026 candidates to that form and supplies the controlling current deadline. Applicants may mail the packet to the firm in Lewiston, Maine, or email one PDF package to aferguson@faleslaw.com. Materials must arrive by 5:00 p.m. Central Time on August 31, 2026. The award is paid to the school for tuition and related academic expenses and cannot be transferred or refunded to the student.
