Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) International Scholarship
Offered by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)
About this scholarship
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), a German political foundation associated with Christian-democratic values, runs an International Scholarship Program supporting committed international students and doctoral candidates who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree (from the second semester onward), a master's degree, or a doctorate at a German university. The scholarship provides a monthly financial allowance so students can focus on their studies, together with substantial non-financial support: an interdisciplinary seminar program, individual mentoring, and an active university group life. There is no age limit, and there are no general subject restrictions, although the foundation does not fund human medicine, dentistry (leading to a state examination), or medical specialisation programs. Applicants may apply after completing their second semester of a bachelor's program, the minimum funding period is four semesters, and because the seminars and mentoring are conducted in German, strong German language skills are expected. KAS seeks scholars who take initiative, want to contribute to the non-financial program, and aim to promote lasting ties between their home country and Germany. Depending on your country you apply either through one of the KAS international offices or, via the domestic selection procedure, through the KAS Campus Portal.
