KAUST Fellowship
Offered by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)
About this scholarship
The KAUST Fellowship fully funds master's and doctoral study at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, an international, English-language graduate research university on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia focused on science, engineering, and technology. There is no separate scholarship application: every admitted student automatically receives the KAUST Fellowship (except those funded through specific partnership or external sponsorship programmes). The fellowship covers full tuition and provides an annual living stipend — roughly US$20,000 for M.S. students and US$25,000–30,000 for Ph.D. students depending on qualifications and progress — plus free on-campus housing, medical and dental insurance, and relocation support, bringing the total package to around US$70,000–80,000 per year. KAUST admits talented students worldwide in STEM fields; applicants create an admissions account, upload transcripts and test scores, and submit a Statement of Purpose of about 750 words covering their academic background, plans for graduate study at KAUST, and career goals. Admissions are rolling with priority review rounds, so candidates should consult the official admission timeline and apply early.
