About this scholarship
The Jardine Foundation's Oxford and Cambridge undergraduate scholarship was a full-funding award for students from eligible Asian communities to study at selected colleges of the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge. This page is a historical reference: the Foundation says students starting in autumn 2026 were the final recipients, and it will make no further undergraduate Oxbridge awards from the 2027 academic year. No new applications are accepted for this scheme. Existing scholars and 2026 awardees continue to receive support through their studies.
The award covered university tuition and college fees, a living-cost stipend, and travel between the scholar's place of residence and the United Kingdom at the beginning and end of study. Selection considered academic achievement, leadership potential, community involvement, and commitment to contributing to the scholar's home community. The scheme required admission to an eligible Oxford or Cambridge college and a separate Jardine application. The last listed application deadline was October 20, 2025, for 2026 entry. The Foundation continues separate undergraduate schemes at the University of Hong Kong and Universitas Gadjah Mada and postgraduate programs. Those are different awards with their own eligibility and application routes.
