Iranian Scholarship Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
Offered by Iranian Scholarship Foundation
About this scholarship
The Iranian Scholarship Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship provides need- and merit-based support to students of Iranian descent attending four-year universities in the United States. The foundation says awards vary and may reach $10,000 per year, with support potentially continuing for four years or until graduation. Its annual undergraduate admission period runs from May 1 through June 30. Applicants must already be enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. four-year university, maintain at least a 3.5 GPA, document financial need, and show an ongoing commitment to community service. U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and eligible F-1 visa holders may apply; an F-1 student must already have an approved visa and reside in the United States before applying. The direct online form is only one part of a complete submission. Applicants must also provide full parental tax documents from the prior year with Social Security numbers redacted, official academic transcripts, the essays specified in the form, and two recommendations—one from a teacher or professor and one from a work or volunteer organization. Required supporting files are emailed together as one ZIP archive, while transcripts must come through the school portal directly to the foundation. Recipients are expected to complete at least 100 hours of community service each year and remain connected to Iranian culture and community.
