Inspired by Design PAVE Student Visionary Award
Offered by PAVE Global
About this scholarship
The Inspired by Design PAVE Student Visionary Award recognizes one North American student whose design work could shape the future of consumer environments. The recipient receives a $7,500 cash award, national recognition, and an invitation to the December 10, 2026 PAVE Gala in New York City. PAVE also provides the student with a $1,250 travel grant and awards another $1,250 to the recipient’s school, department, or educator to support Gala travel. Applicants must be full-time students in a two- to four-year undergraduate or graduate program in design, architecture, visual merchandising, or a related discipline. They must study at an institution in North America, carry at least 12 credits or the program’s full-time equivalent, and intend to pursue work designing consumer environments. The submission centers on one existing project aligned with human-centered design, inclusive or universal design, cultural awareness and DEI, contemporary or reactive design, or sustainability and adaptive reuse. Candidates prepare four 11-by-17-inch landscape PDF boards explaining design thinking, impact, reflection, and outcome. The boards cannot identify the applicant or school because judging is blind. A current official or unofficial transcript and completed Submittable form are also required. Group work is allowed if the applicant clearly documents an individual contribution and credits collaborators. Entries are due October 21, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
