The Guillaume Dupaix International Excellence Scholarship is the University of Luxembourg's talent-support stipend for high-achieving students pursuing a master's degree. The official scholarship page states that the award is aimed at attracting high-achieving international students to University of Luxembourg master's programmes, across all faculties and fields of study. It provides EUR 5,763 per semester, or EUR 11,526 per year, covering living expenses and accommodation, but no registration or tuition fee waiver is possible. The award is recorded as partial funding because it supports living and accommodation costs but does not waive tuition or cover every cost of attendance. The scholarship supports up to 30 students per year, 10 per faculty, for up to two years. Fifteen places are for regular students regardless of country of origin, and 15 are for students from target countries including the Western Balkans, Ibero-American countries, Thailand, Vietnam, Belarus, Egypt, India, Moldova, Russia, the UK, Turkey, and Ukraine. The 2026 deadline was March 24.

Eligibility

• Apply for a full-time master's degree at the University of Luxembourg
• Be assessed as academically excellent by the master's programme
• Receive an invitation to apply for the scholarship if deemed excellent
• Not enroll in a master's programme requiring a mandatory semester or year abroad
• Not receive Luxembourg State Financial Aid for Higher Education
• Submit scholarship materials by the deadline and accept quickly if selected
