Global DePaul Scholarship

About this scholarship

The Global DePaul Scholarship is a renewable undergraduate merit scholarship for international freshman applicants to DePaul University in Chicago. DePaul's international freshman admission page lists the award amount at $12,000 to $32,000 per year and states that all international students are automatically considered when they apply to DePaul. No separate scholarship application is required. The award is made at the time of admission decision and is based on the applicant's high school GPA, with the scholarship amount shown in the admission letter. It is partial funding because it reduces tuition but does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals, health insurance, books, travel, and personal expenses. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four consecutive years, or 12 quarters, of undergraduate study if the student maintains good academic standing, enrolls full time each quarter, and completes a minimum of 36 quarter hours across the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. International applicants must also submit required academic records, translations when needed, proof of English proficiency or qualifying alternatives, and financial documentation for immigration processing.
